Circa un mese dopo...- One month later...

Un mesetto fa ero in mezzo al mare, con un piede in Finlandia e uno in continente... A volte quando ripenso al Raid Porotokka, mi trovo ancora in quella situazione, ricordi dei bei momenti passati un viaggio ancora vivi ed intatti... In questo periodo ho fatto un sacco di cose e mi sono dedicato poco al mettere a posto gli appunti, scegliere le foto, -le emozioni e i ricordi continuano ad accavallarsi come un onda dietro l'altra, ed è davvero difficile metterli a fuoco per bene... -

Volevo intanto ringraziare Jukka e Päivi per avermi invitato a partecipare a questa esperienza indescrivibile, avete organizzato davvero un bel raid, mi avete permesso di conoscere meglio luoghi e  tradizioni di un popolo che ora in qualche modo sento anche miei... 

Ringrazio anche tutti i 'Tok Tok Raideri', perché il vostro contributo è stato essenziale perché questi luoghi e questo raid fossero magnifici, mi avete fatto sentire parte di una bella famiglia, mi sono sentito a casa fin dal primo Ajajakokous (così si chiama la riunione dei partecipanti), non c'erano differenze di provenienza, età, lingua, non c'erano forzature, è avvenuto tutto in maniera così naturale, ed è bello vedere come le nostre 2cv sono state un mezzo e non il fine per creare questa atmosfera... Spero di avere lasciato anche a voi un bel ricordo come quello che ho potuto portare con me qui in Italia, spero non sia stato così spiacevole per voi conoscere questo puntino rosso e questo tipo spettinato, disordinato e disorganizzato, sempre in ritardo e spesso con la testa tra le nuvole... Grazie per avere truccato i risultati delle poroolimpics, perché altrimenti non le avrei mai vinte... 

Ringrazio anche tutti coloro che ho incontrato lungo questo percorso di asfalto e neve, chi mi ha dato una mano, chi mi ha regalato un sorriso, chi mi ha offerto un letto caldo, chi ora ha una tavoletta del cesso nuova, chi mi ha incoraggiato, chi mi ha seguito, chi ho conosciuto virtualmente o dal vivo...

Vorrei dire a tutti tante cose, ma una frase le dice tutte: 'SI SI SI' :)

One month ago I was in the middle of the sea, one foot in Finland and the other in the remaining Europe... 

Sometime, thinking about the Raid Porotokka, I find myself again in that situation, good memories of the moments spent during the trip still alive and intact... I've been doing a lot of things since I came back home, and I couldn't dedicate the right time to put in order the notes, choose some pictures... emotions and memories are continuing gathering in my head, wave after wave, and it's really hard to focus on them...I would like first to say thanks to Jukka and Päivi for having make me part of this incredible experience, you do have organize a great raid, you made me discover better places and traditions of your country that now I can feel someway part of me. I thank also all the other "tok tok raideri", because your contribution has been essential to make amazing those places and the raid, you made me feel part of a special family, I felt home since the first "Ajajakokous" (driver meeting), there weren't any differences of origin, age, language, no forcings, everything happened in a natural way, and it's nice to see how our 2cvs, the passion for them that we all shared, have been the right "excuse" to meet and to create that atmosphere... I hope I left you a good memory, the same as the one of you that I carried back to Italy with me, I hope even that it hasn't been so unpleasant for you to meet this small red dot and this messy-unkempt haired guy, always in late and more than once having his head in the clouds... Thanks for having rigged the "Poroolimpics" results, anyway I would've never won them. 

I would like to thank also who I met during this travel of asphalt and snow, who helped me, who gave me a smile, who offered me a warm place to sleep, who encouraged me, who followed me, who I met for real or virtually...

I would like to say to everyone a lot of things, but I will tell you just this sentence: "SI SI SI" :)
